Job Title: Senior Scientist/Engineer/Geologist

Salary Range: $100,000 to $125,000, depending on experience
Reports To: Environmental Department Manager

Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to lead and execute a variety of environmental compliance projects with minimal oversight. You'll work closely with our project teams to overcome challenges and meet our clients' needs, all while providing mentorship and support to junior staff. Your role will involve managing clients, managing projects, managing an internal team, leading project teams, business development, and ensuring the quality of our deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all work with a focus on safety
Responsible for managing relationships, business development, and ensuring deliverable quality for multiple clients
Mentor and develop junior staff
Maintain project schedules and budget expectations
Work with CDH staff and technical leads to manage projects including soil sampling and excavation oversight, groundwater monitoring programs, stormwater programs, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) programs, Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) monitoring programs, and due diligence projects predominately for oil and gas clients in the Rocky Mountain region
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of Oil and Gas processes and regulations or other related/adjacent industries
Experience managing multiple projects while adapting to changing requirements
Able to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures
Experience managing field teams and project personnel to collect data and generate deliverables as required by regulations and client objectives
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Broad environmental compliance knowledge related to oil and gas clients such as: Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans; Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP); soil and groundwater sampling and remediation; baseline groundwater sampling, etc.
Detailed knowledge of oil and gas regulatory requirements in one or more of the following states: Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and/or Wyoming
Knowledge of air quality basics and applicability to oil and gas clients
Professional license (PE or PG)
Client management and/or business development experience
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field of study
At least 10 years of relevant industry experience with at least 6 of those years including project management experience
