Position: Staff CAD/GIS Drafter

Location: Denver, CO or remote within the state of Colorado.

Employment Type: Temporary, Full Time (W-2), Non-Exempt 

Salary Range: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour, depending on experience

Reports To: Systems and Integrations Manager

The CAD/GIS Drafter supports CDH Consulting’s environmental compliance work by producing clear, accurate, and client- and agency-ready figures, maps, and technical drawings. This role collaborates closely with environmental professionals to translate field notes, forms, and datasets into consistent deliverables that meet client standards and agency requirements.  

This is a temporary, full-time role intended to support current project needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in both CAD and GIS environments, and able to manage multiple figure requests with strong QA/QC. 

Typical deliverables include, but are not limited to, site location maps, facility or site plan-view figures, sampling location figures, and disturbance/footprint exhibits.

Reports To: Senior Geologist or Senior Engineer

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to execute a variety of environmental compliance projects with oversight from senior staff. You'll work closely with our project teams to overcome challenges and meet our clients' needs. Your role will involve supporting projects with report and deliverable preparation, with a focus on Colorado and Wyoming soil and groundwater site investigations.

You'll work closely with our project teams to overcome challenges and meet our clients' needs, all while providing mentorship and support to junior staff. Your role will involve overseeing and supporting projects, contributing to project teams, and report and deliverable preparation, with a focus on Colorado soil and groundwater site investigations.


Position: Field Technician

Location: Remote within Denver Metro Area

Employment Type: Temporary, Full Time (W-2), Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience

Reports To: Project Scientist

CDH Consulting is seeking a Field Technician to support ongoing field work including soil sampling and groundwater sampling, and other field work as needed as needed. Fieldwork is mainly in the Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin; however, the candidate may be required to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time to other project locations as needed.

The preferred applicant for this position will have a background and/or some educational experience in environmental science, engineering, geology, stormwater management, water quality, or a related field.


Position: Senior Scientist/Engineer/Geologist

Employment Type: Full Time Exempt

Salary Range: $100,000 to $125,000, depending on experience

Reports To: Environmental Department Manager

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to lead and execute a variety of environmental compliance projects with minimal oversight. You'll work closely with our project teams to overcome challenges and meet our clients' needs, all while providing mentorship and support to junior staff. Your role will involve managing clients, managing projects, managing an internal team, leading project teams, business development, and ensuring the quality of our deliverables.
