Job Title: Field Technician 

Location: Denver Metro 

Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt 

Salary Range: $28 to $32 per hour, depending on experience 

Reports To: Senior Geologist or Senior Engineer

CDH Consulting is seeking a Field Technician to support ongoing field work including soil sampling and excavation oversight, groundwater sampling, stormwater inspections, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) inspections, Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) monitoring programs, and other field work as needed. Fieldwork is mainly in the Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin; however, the candidate may be required to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time to other project locations as needed. 

The preferred applicant for this position will have a background and/or some educational experience in environmental science, engineering, geology, stormwater management, water quality, or a related field. 


Job Title: Senior Scientist/Engineer/Geologist 

Location: Remote (Denver to Fort Collins Corridor, Colorado) 

Employment Type: Full Time 

Salary Range: $100,000 to $125,000, depending on experience 

Reports To: Environmental Department Manager 

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to lead and execute a variety of environmental compliance projects with minimal oversight. You'll work closely with our project teams to overcome challenges and meet our clients' needs, all while providing mentorship and support to junior staff. Your role will involve managing clients, managing projects, managing an internal team, leading project teams, business development, and ensuring the quality of our deliverables. 


Job Title: Staff Scientist/Engineer/Geologist 

Location: Remote (Denver to Fort Collins Corridor, Colorado) 

Employment Type: Full Time 

Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000, depending on experience 

Reports To: Senior Geologist or Senior Engineer 

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to execute a variety of environmental compliance projects with oversight from senior staff. You'll work closely with our project teams to overcome challenges and meet our clients' needs. Your role will involve supporting projects with report and deliverable preparation, with a focus on Colorado soil and groundwater site investigations. 

 

During your first year, you will: 

  • Review soil and groundwater analytical data. 

  • Assist with spill investigations and reporting. 

  • Prepare technical reports and client deliverables. 

  • Support field sampling events and remediation projects. 

  • Work alongside experienced scientists, geologists, and engineers to develop consulting skills.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $110,000, depending on experience 

Reports To: Senior Engineer or Geologist

Salary Range: $35 to $42 per hour, depending on experience

Reports To: Project Scientist

CDH Consulting is seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Environmental Engineer to support environmental consulting projects for oil and gas clients. This role is intended for a skilled field professional with experience managing complex field investigations, remediation activities, drilling programs, and environmental sampling events. The successful candidate will serve as a technical field leader, maintaining the highest standards of health and safety while providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
